Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)
1. Purpose & Scope
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") defines the mandatory rules governing all services hosted on InfraHost Australia ("InfraHost", "we", "us") owned bare-metal Dell PowerEdge server hardware located in Sydney, Australia. This policy applies to all clients, end-users, and automated software instances interacting with our network or provisioned via myinfra.com.au.
2. Prohibited Network & Security Activities
InfraHost maintains a zero-tolerance policy regarding malicious or disruptive activity directed at or originating from our Sydney server nodes:
- Denial of Service (DoS/DDoS): Initiating, participating in, or amplifying Denial of Service attacks, booter scripts, or packet floods.
- Botnets & Command-and-Control (C2): Hosting botnet control hubs, malware payloads, or exploit packs.
- Port Scanning & Exploitation: Conducting unauthorized IP range scans, vulnerability probing, or brute-force scripts.
- Spam & Unsolicited Communication: Sending unsolicited commercial email (SPAM) violating the Spam Act 2003 (Cth).
- Phishing & Fraud: Hosting fake banking sites, credential harvesting pages, or deceptive brand impersonation assets.
FortiGate Automatic Containment: Our Sydney host nodes are actively monitored by inline FortiGate DDoS appliances. Outbound attack signatures trigger automated firewall containment and instant node isolation.
3. Discord Bot Hosting Fair Resource Allocation
To ensure high performance for all bot containers running on our Dell PowerEdge hosts, Discord bot hosting accounts must strictly operate within allocated resource bounds:
A. Resource Bounds & Abuse
- CPU & RAM Usage: Bots must not exceed provisioned vCPU caps or RAM quotas. Unhandled memory leaks will be automatically terminated by panel watchdog processes.
- Discord API Rules: Bots must adhere to official Discord API rate-limiting rules. Triggering IP bans from Discord infrastructure is forbidden.
- Forbidden Bot Functions: Hosting self-bots, mass token checkers, mass DM spam bots, or token scrapers will result in instant account termination.
4. Hardware Abuse & Cryptomining
InfraHost bare-metal and container instances are optimized for application, website, and bot workloads. Running cryptocurrency mining scripts (e.g., Monero miners) or unapproved high-load thermal stress tests on shared or containerized plans is strictly banned.
5. Enforcement, Violations & Legal Compliance
Services terminated due to severe AUP violations (such as outbound DDoS attacks, phishing, or malware distribution) will be permanently deleted from our Sydney host nodes without refund. InfraHost fully complies with lawful requests and warrants issued under the Cybercrime Act 2001 (Cth) and Australian law enforcement agencies.
6. Reporting Abuse
To report network abuse originating from InfraHost infrastructure, please submit log evidence or URL details to our security team:
